Alex Garland’s Civil War Is Apparently a Freaking Masterpiece

Because the first images had been revealed from Alex Garland’s Civil War, it correct had the vibe of one thing remarkable. Whether or no longer the film was lawful or bad, merely the idea of a film depicting a novel American civil war was simultaneously grisly and moving.

Civil War opens in theaters April 12 and had its world premiere at South by Southwest earlier this week, where it more or much less blew the roof off the place. At least that’s what it seems appreciate from the great reactions on social media, hailing the film as a novel masterpiece.

Written and directed by Garland (Ex Machina, Annihilation), Civil War stars Kirsten Dunst, Cailee Spaeny, and others.
